VMTP technical information
We can fully rig-test all CVT, ECVT and CTX [Ford] transmissions.
Rebuilt transmissions are sent out as a 'loose' unit, guaranteed for 12 months, 12,000 miles.
We don't limit our rebuilding service to only repairing to manufacturer's standards. Our garage section researches & develops new procedures to resolve common and inherent problems to certain transmissions. For instance, by modifying the CTX gearbox we can cure the judder problem associated with Ford Fiestas and Escorts manufactured between 1992 and 2000.
